We invest at pre-seed and seed stage in UK media technology companies — typically as a first-cheque investor at the earliest moments when the right capital and the right partner can make the biggest difference. We believe the most transformative media and AI companies are built from the ground up, and we want to be there from day one

We are based in Kings Cross, London and actively invest across the UK. As a British Business Bank-backed fund, we are committed to supporting the UK's media technology and AI ecosystem from pre-seed and beyond
mediatech
We invest exclusively in media technology — startups building at the intersection of media, entertainment and AI across the full content and data value chain. From generative AI, creator economy and gaming to next-generation advertising, AI inference compute and live experiences
engaged approach
We consider an investment as a long-term partnership, not a transaction. We take board seats, make introductions, support hiring and help founders navigate follow-on fundraising. See our Engaged Investor page for our 5 pillar strategy.
6 - 8 investments / year
We make 6–8 new pre-seed and seed investments per year. Investing selectively means we have the time, focus and network to add real value to every company we back — not just write cheques
follow on capital
We are not a one-time investor. We reserve 40% of the fund for follow-on investment, providing continued financial support to our portfolio companies as they grow from pre-seed and seed through to later rounds
lead investor
We lead pre-seed and seed funding rounds, helping to structure and bring them together using our extensive network of co-investors, strategics and institutional LPs across the UK and globally
